Registration

Registration days for Maroubra Nippers are:

• Sunday 11th September 9am – 12pm
• Sunday 18th September 9am – 12pm

U8’s and above must complete a proficiency swim at the Seals Club Pool before proceeding to the Surf club for registration (survival float plus swim U8-U10- 25m, U11- 50m, U12- 100m, U13 – 150m, U14 – 200m (any stroke)). Please remember cossie, goggles and towel. Pool swims will finish at 11am.

New members must bring a copy of proof of age document e.g. Birth certificate or passport.

Fees for 2011/2012 Season are:

• One Child: $110
• Two Children: $160
• Three Children: $200
• Fourth and subsequent Children: $40 per child.

Payment is by Cheque or Cash only.
$15 building levy for Maroubra SLSC included in the fee structure.
Note: Birth Certificates/Passport required at registration for new member's

$20 late  admin fee appliesfor any registrations taken after the 2 registration days

• Existing members will have prefilled registration forms emailed to you before registration. Please print, check details, sign and bring with you to registration.
   
• New members can download a registration form & photo policy form below - there will be some blanks available on the day.
  
• Late registrations may also be accepted on the first day of Nippers 16th October 2011 however a $20 late administration fee will apply per child.

Terms & Conditions

For registrations in the 2011-2012 season there is a 7 day cooling off from 16th – 23rd October. A 75% refund maybe applied to the individual member. A50% refund is available until 13th November to cover special circumstances which prevent a child from continuing in Nippers, please note a Doctors Certificate will be required. The full & final decision will be at the discretion of Director of Junior Development in consultation with the Nipper sub-committee. After this date there will be NO REFUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS

First Day of Nippers - Sunday 16th October 2011
Last Day of Nippers - Sunday 18th March 2012

How old do you have to be?

The minimum age for children to start nippers is 5 years of age. That is, the child must have turned 5 before the 1st of October.

Age Groups

Nippers age group is determined by age on 30th September 2011 at midnight e.g. if your child is 11 on 30th September 2011, they are classed as being in the under 12 age group. Children must be 5 years on this date to start Nippers.

When does start and finish?

The season starts on October and ends early March.

Is there any qualifying requirements?

There is no requirements for the Under 6s and 7s.
